Four Savvy Stampers Stampin' Luncheon

On Monday March 6th I am getting together with fellow demos Janine, Pat, Sandy and Sandy's friend Carol we will be having lunch at Pizza Hut and then we will be making cards.  I couldn't decide which card I liked better so I am bringing both for them to make.  Which one do you like better.

February 2023 NC Demos Blog Hop

Welcome to the February 2023 NC Demos Blog Hop we are here the last Sunday of each month and I am so glad that you could join us.  The theme for this month is the retiring 2021-2023 InColors.  These colors are my favorites so far.  I have loved each and every one of them so picking my favorite was hard.  I had only one choice and I put all the names in a bag and had my son pick out one for me and the color I will be using tonight is Fresh Freesia.  I am going to miss these 5 colors they have been my go to colors for the last 2 years.

I  used Framed Florets as my stamp set and the Sending and Scalloped Contour dies.

I began with a piece of Fresh Freesia 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4.  I then cut a piece of DSP 5 1/4 x 4 and put it on the front of the card.  The DSP is Dandy Designs from Sale A Bration.

I then took a piece of white and die cut it with the Scalloped Contours dies.  This is the piece I worked on next.  With Stazon Black I stamped the flowers at the top and the sentiment on the bottom.  I then colored the flowers with the SU markers.  I had hardly used them and decided this was the place for them.  I used Polish Pink and Fresh Freesia for the flowers and Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen for the leaves.

I then took a piece of Fresh Freesia and die cut the word Sending.  This I attached on a diagonal in the center of the card.

I finished the card with a bow made from the Fresh Freesia Open Weave ribbon and some adhesive backed sequence and then put this on the front of the card with dimensionals.  The inside is white cut 5 x 3 1/2 just plain.

I hope you like the card and thank you so much for visiting.  Please make sure you visit the rest of the blogs on the list for more great inspirations.  Thank you and see you next month, please stay safe.
