My next Cards A Latte class is on Friday February 4th at 10 AM at the Local Bean coffee shop in Hudson NC at their new location. We will be making these 4 cards.
There is nothing better than spending an afternoon creating cards with rubber stamps. Heaven on earth. A cup of coffee with this helps add even more to the experience.

January 2022 NC Demos Blog Hop
Welcome to the NC Demos Blog Hop we are here the last Sunday of each month and are so happy you could join us. The theme for this month is Sale A Bration that wonderful time of the year when you can spend $50 or $100 and get something free. We all love the free stuff. So I was happy when it was suggested as a theme as this SAB brochure is full of some amazing products and it was hard to choice just one so I decided to chose a set, it is free with a $100, and I love it the Friendly Hello bundle which is a stamp set and designer series paper.
I wanted to do something different so I made a Rocker card I haven't seen one done before so I gave it a shot and it worked. I love using our Basic Borders dies and have always used it on just one side of the card base this time I used it to cut the whold card base and it worked I made a Rocker or Rocking card.
The card base is Pool Party and a regular base of 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. Folded the base and got the die as close to the edge and as even as I could and cut it out.
Cut DSP and a piece of Basic White to 5 1/4 x 4 and put the die on one edge so it could easily be layered on the front and on the back.
Another piece of white was cut 3 x 3 and here is where I did my stamping. Bird and sentiment were done in Black and edges were sponged in Pool Party then with a Q-tip and ink I added some color to the bird and to the flowers once this was done put it on the front of the card in the center with dimensionals
Made a bow with the Pool Party Striped Grosgrain ribbon and added it with a glue dot to the upper right of the card and to finish is added some pearls.
Added the white piece to the inside and the card it was done and with a flick of the finger it rocks like the wind blowing through the trees.
Thank you so much for stopping by and please make sure to visit the other blogs for some great SAB ideas. Be safe and looking forward to seeing you next month.

December 2021 NC Demos Blog Hop
Merry Christmas and welcome to the NC Demos Blog Hop. We are here the last Sunday of each month and are so glad you could join us. I sincerely hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to the New Year.
We were given a challenge this month to make a card based on the roll of the dice. Our card has to use paper from the Brights family, has to be a Birthday card and have texture, use DSP and layers. So my card this month is a fun fold twist on an easel card. Not my idea I cased it from fellow demonstrator Debbie Henderson.
I had to use the new Awesome Otters Sale A Bration Stamp Set and the Sunshine and Rainbow 6x6 Sale A Bration DSP, love the new stuff in the brochure.
My card is Melon Mambo cut 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 2 3/4 and 5 1/2 after folding add the DSP which I cut 5 1/4 x 4 and 4 x 2 1/2 this is now the base of my card.
Took another piece of Melon Mambo and cut it 9 x 3 and scored it at 4 1/2 for this piece I cut a piece of DSP a different design and white at 4 1/4 x 2 3/4. The DSP I put on the front of the card and on the white I stamped in black the otter in the water at the bottom of the paper and colored him in with blends.
On a piece of white 3 1/2 x 2 I stamped another otter and sentiment and again colored them in with blends and put this piece on the front of this little card and then glued the mini card to the card base in the center of the 5 1/4 x 4 DSP piece. When folded fits a regular envelope.
For the easel part I cut white 2 1/4 x 1 stamped a sentiment and glued it on a piece of Melon Mambo 2 1/2 x 1 1/4 and this piece was put in the center of the small fold with dimensionals and this is where the mini card is placed to keep it open. I hope you love it as much as I do it was a fun card to make and not at all hard.
Thank you so much for stopping by and make sure you check out all the cards on this months blog hop you will love them all and make sure you stop by again next month.
Have a very Happy New Year and please stay safe.
