My 2011 Christmas Card

I have finally finished my Christmas Card for this year and I am happy to say they are in the mail.  I can't send a card to everyone so here is my card and I am wishing all of you a very Happy Holiday Season.

December Newsletter

December Class

My class is ready but haven't finished my shopping.  This is going to be a fun, fun class.

The telescope card is for Valentine"s Day.  It was a lot of cutting with the Big Shot machine but I love the way it cam out.  The above picture is the closed version and below is what it looks like open.

The monogram card makes a great gift.  Make several put in a pretty container and give it for Christmas or Birthday presents.  The Stripes Embossing Folder is awesome I love the results you get.

NY Woo Hoo Stampers Swap

This is my November swap card.  It was so much fun to do and I cased it from myself and my November class card. I used the Dazzling Details as a paint and brushed it over the snowflakes to give a little bling.

Raleigh State Fair

I am so excited.  I just found out 2 of my cards won Ribbons at the Raleigh State Fair.  I entered several cards in the Rubber Stamping Category and I placed Second in Stamping Techniques and Third in Special Folds.  It all so amazing I never expected to win and this came as a wonderful surprise.  Will post the cards and ribbons when I get them back. WOO HOO

October Class--Christmas with a Twist

Greensboro QM Swaps

This Saturday I am going to the NC Demos Quarterly Meeting in Greensboro.  It is an all day affair and I can't wait.  We have so much fun talking and making amazing things.  It is such a fun time.  I signed up for 3 of the 4 swaps offered.  The Holiday Card Front, 6X6 Technique Page and the 3-D item.  Here are my swaps.

September Class--Fall

Decided to do something different for the fall and even used colors I don't use to often.  I like the way they came out. 

Charlotte NC Regional

Oh My God! It was fantastic what a great time.  I traveled with my friend Beth and we had an absolutely fantastic time.  It was so good to see my fellow stampers and friends.  As an added treat Shelli was there and of course being the sweetheart she is stopped to chat and have pictures taken.  You have to experience a Regional they are great.  The Make N Takes were fantastic, the extra goodies the best and the ideas unbelievable.

Charlotte NC August 20, 2011 Swap

I can't wait for the Charlotte Regional.  It will be so much fun and this is the Swap Card I made.  I wanted to use items from the Holiday Mini and I like the way it came out.  I used the new Snow Burst Embossing Folder. The new Dazzling Details Glitter Glue and the Festive and Fun Stamp Set. 

Janine's Workshop Make N Takes

August Class--Tina's Choice

My August Class is on the 13th.  It is going to be a good one.  We will be making 3 cards and 1 Envelope Sachet which makes a great gift.  So I hope you like them.  Contact me if you would like to come to the class.

Made this card at the Taylorsville QM and loved it so much that I made it for my class and also as my swap for the NY Woo Hoo Stampers swap.  Simple to make but so pretty.

NC Demos Flip Flop QM in Taylorsville

Tomorrow and Saturday is our Flip Flop Quarterly Meeting and this time it is in Taylorsville, NC.  I can't wait.  They are always so much fun.  I am helping Pat hostess this meeting and I am in charge of all the swaps so naturally I had to do all the swaps.  So here they are:

 This is the 6x6 Scrapbook Page and the Bookmark Card.  For this one you made a card that incorporated a bookmark.

This last one is the Friday Night Shoebox Swap card.  The Dazzling Diamonds Glitter really makes it sparkle

Bachlorette Party Invitations

This past week I was asked to make Bachlorette Party Invitations by two different people.  One girl wanted it to look like lace and I used the Lace Ribbon Punch and she loved them.  The other girl loves Polka Dots and the colors green, pink and brown.  I came up with the second card for her. I love the new Polka Dot Ribbon

July Class--New Catty, New Colors and Fabulous Folds

Lace Ribbon Border Punch

My preorder came Thursday but I was only able to get to it today.  I love the new Lace Ribbon Border punch.  I thought it would be hard to use because it is heavier than the other punch I have but it was as easy to use as any of the Stampin' Up border punches. I like that way this card came out.  It is simple and easy and something that can easily be done at a workshop.
