 June 17 is the next time the Cards A Latte group will meet to make cards. We will make these 4 cards at The Local Bean coffee shop at 10 AM

June 3,2022 Card Class

 The next Cards A Latte class will be on Friday June 3rd at The Local Bean coffee shop in Hudson ,NC at 10AM.  We will be making 4 cards one is a gift cards holder and of course one is a fun fold.

May 2022 NC Demos Blog Hop

 Welcome to the NC Demos Blog Hop we are here the last Sunday of each month and so glad you could be here tonight.  The theme for this month was "Something Old, Something New" from the new catty and I decided to go with something that was carried over into the new catty the Color and Contour stamp set but I did use a new fun fold what I call the Diamond Flip Fun Fold.

I took a piece of Fresh Freesia cardstock and cut it at 4 1/4 x 11 and scored it at 2 1/8 and 5 1/2,  This is when the fun starts.  On each side I marked it with a pencil mark at 3 sides at 2 1/8 and then I cut it on two sides at a diagonal and then I did this on the other side.  Not done cut white 5 1/4 x 4 and did the same thing on one of the side they would fit together nicely.  For the diamond at the end cut cardstock 2 7/8 x 2 7/8 and attached it to the white piece.

Also for the inside I cut a piece of white cardstock 3 x 4 stamped salutation and attached it to center panel.

For the front cut a piece of Black 3 x 4 and put a piece of DSP on it cut 2 7/8 x 3 7/8 and attached it to the front.  All that is left now is the front diamond.

For the diamond on the front cut white 2 7/8 x 2 7/8 and stamped the flower in black and added then stamped in the color.  Put this on a piece of 3 x 3 Fresh Freesia and added it to the card making sure all diamonds aligned together. 

Finished it with some cute flower embelishments.
