These are the cards we would have made if I could of had a class the last of Christmas
There is nothing better than spending an afternoon creating cards with rubber stamps. Heaven on earth. A cup of coffee with this helps add even more to the experience.

November 2020 NC Demos Blog Hop
Welcome to the NC Demos Blog Hop we are here the last Sunday of each month and thank you so much for joining me this evening. The theme for this months hop is our favorite color combinations and the Christmas song that inspires this. My favorite color is green and for Christmas I usually go with green, silver and white and it goes along with my favorite Christmas song "Silent Night". But that is where it takes a turn. I have loved this song since I was a child and that third verse really gets me and the true meaning of Christmas but it is so much more, Take the first 4 words of the song "Silent Night Holy Night" means so much more to me and the beauty of the night. I lived most of my life on Long Island NY but my place of escape was Maine and not on the coast. I lived on a island I didn't want the beach I wanted the mountains and peace and silence that I found in Maine. Have you ever walked in a forest at night after a snowfall. The snow crunching beneath your boots and the moonlight making the new fallen snow glisten like diamonds, and the quite and peacefulness of the scene "Silent Night Holy Night" is right in front of you. So my card is based on all of this.
My card is very simple but it reminds me of my song and the woods of Maine. Card base is Grey Granite cut 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 5 1/2. Shaded Spruce cut 5 1/4 x 4 and put on card base. Then White cut 5 x 3 3/4 and on the background stamped the trees from the Winter Woods stamp set in Gray Granite across the background and without re-inking stamped several times again. Then take a scrap of Whisper White the same size and stamp salutation in Shaded Spruce and tear it leaving a rim of distressed paper. Cover that rim with Wink of Stella to represent the moon shining on the snow.
Add this piece to the bottom of the white with the trees stamped on it then put on the card front. On another piece of Whisper White stamp the tree in Shaded Spruce and cut out add this piece to the card with dimensionals. To finish the card front I added 5 very small pearls around to represent those stray snowflakes that like to fall. The inside of the card is very simple just stamped in Grey Granite the birch trees and the card is done.
My card is done in my favorite colors representing my favorite song.
Thank you so much for stopping by this month and make sure you go onto the next person on the list I am sure they have done something fantastic for you to see and to make. So till next month happy stamping.
