15 Year Stampin' Up Anniversary

February 1, 2020 was my 15 year anniversary with Stampin Up.  Today I received my pin and letter.

Welcome to this month's NC Demos Blog Hop we are here the last Sunday of the month and we look forward to sharing our ideas with you especially during this time of social distancing.  The theme for this month is "It's a Spring Thing".  Spring is a special time of the year when everything that was tucked away for the winter is now making it's appearance known with pretty blue skies, lush green grass and all the pretty colors of the spring flowers.  So I had to go with flowers this month and also do a fun fold card.

The fun fold I decided to do today is called the Bay Window fold.  The first card above shows how it will look closed and ready to go into the envelope the second card shows how it will look open.  It is kind of a take on a easel card.  The next picture shows what it looks like from the top or bottom

The card is easy to make.  To begin I used the Varied Vases Stamp Set, haven't touched that set much so I wanted to give it some love.  Card is Purple Posy cut at 4 1/4 and scored at 3/8, 1 7/8, 3 5/8, 5 1/8, 5 1/2 fold all the scored lines.  Next take a piece of DSP I used the Best Dressed 6 x 6 paper and cut a piece 4 x 6.  I then cut the 6 inch side at 1 1/4, 1 1/2, 1 1/4 the left over piece is for the inside of the card. 

The inside is Whisper White cut 5 1/2 x 4, I attached the left over piece of DSP on the edge and adhered it to the inside of the card.  Then to make the card work I glued down over the white that small 3/8 inch piece on the fold side of the card.

Once that was done  I finished the outside of the card added the three pieces of DSP to panels and then with a different color DSP cut 2 pieces 3/8 x 4 1/4 for the two small side panels.  I then took a piece of white 3 3/4 x 1 1/4 and stamped the vase in Highland Heather and then using a mask stamped the flowers in Basic Gray and Petal Pink.  The Salutation is in Basic Gray and the leaves are in Pear Pizzazz.  The edges were sponged in Purple Posy and then attached to the front panel of card with dimensionals.  To finish the inside and make the card work I took Purple Posy cardstock stamped the flower from the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set in Purple Posy and with the new small Blooms punch cut out one flower and attached it to the center of the inside DSP panel with a dimensional and a InColor faceted dot and I was done.

I also did another version where I used a different vase and flowers and Daffodil Delight instead of Petal Pink. Don't know which one I like better.
