August 2019 NC Demos Blog Hop
Hi Welcome to this month's NC Demos Blog Hop and the theme for this month is Flowers. I grew up in NY and my father was a florist so we had flowers everywhere and I really loved them especially all the colors when I moved South I was introduced to a whole new genre of flowers even more beautiful but some how I always seem to go back to the Daisy. It is a simple flower in so many gorgeous colors and they always make me smile. As you can see Daisies come in all sorts of colors and that is the theme for my card today.

I am especially fond of Blue Daisies so I had to make a card featuring them and this is what I came up with.
To make this card I used the Daisy Lane and Butterfly Wishes stamp sets.
Start with a piece of Heavy Whisper White 5 1/2 x 11 and scored at 4 1/4
Layer a piece of Blueberry Bushel 5 1/4 x 4 on top
Cut piece of Whisper White 5 x 3 3/4 and this is where stamping is done
Used Blueberry Bushel for the flowers and Salutation and Call Me Clover for the stems and then placed this piece on the card. I then stamped on another piece of white the three flowers again and punched them out with the large and medium daisy punches.
I placed them on the card with dimensionals and went on to the inside of the card.
For the inside I stamped the salutation in the center in Blueberry and the smaller daisy in the lower right corner.
At this point I thought my card was done but it needed something else so I added a bow at the bottom of the stems made with the Blueberry Bushel Grosgrain Ribbon and added the some clear faceted gems to the center but I still wasn't happy with it so I took the Butterfly Wishes stamp set and stamped a small butterfly and the large one in Highland Heather ink and fussy cut them, and added one to the inside of the card and the other for the outside with Dimensionals now I was done.
Here is the finished card again.
Thank you so much for stopping by and please go on to the next persons blog and remember to come visit again the last Sunday of each month.
