October 11 2025 Class Card

 I have added another class this one will be on the 2nd Saturday each month.  So, the Cards A Latte group will be meeting again on Saturday October 11 at 11 AM at the Local Bean coffee shop in Hudson NC.  We will be making 4 cards

October 3 2025 Class Cards

 October 3rd is the next time the Cards A Latte group will be meeting at the Local  Bean coffee shop in Hudson NC at 10 AM.  We will be making 4 cards one is a fun fold and the other gift card holder.

September 2025 NC Demos Blog Hop

 

Welcome to the NC Demos Blog Hop.  We are here the last Sunday of each month and thank you for stopping by this evening.

Our theme this month has to do with creating a background with stamps and techniques.  It was a challenge I was ok with.

I began with a piece of White cut 5 1/4 x 4.  I then picked several ink pads and blender brushes and began. These are the colors I choose, Shy Shamrock, Azure Afternoon, Highland Heather and Pretty in Pink.

This is how it turned out.

I was not finished.  I took a stamp from the Charming Day stamp set and black ink and stamped the flowers all around the card. Till it looked like this but I was not finished.  I then took my Wink of Stella and colored in all the leaves and flowers with it.

I then add this piece to my card base of Azure Afternoon 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4. Added a sentiment from an Ephemera pack and some Hues of Blue Flowers embellishments.

And finally the finished card.
