The Cards A Latte group will meet again on Friday October 6, 2023 at 10 AM at the Local Bean coffee shop in Hudson NC. We will be making 4 cards and one is a fun fold called a Squeeze Box.
There is nothing better than spending an afternoon creating cards with rubber stamps. Heaven on earth. A cup of coffee with this helps add even more to the experience.

September 2023 NC Demos Blog Hop
Welcome to the NC Demos Blog Hop. We are here the last Sunday of each month and are so glad you could join us this evening. This months theme is "Two of a Kind". We had to make a card layout and then create it two more times using different stamps, paper, ink etc. I had made a card for my next class and I really liked the way it came out and decided to use it for my blog today.
This is the card for my class and all the measurements I give you are the same ones I used for the other two cards. What is the same is the size card, the size of the DSP and the white on the inside everything else has been changed. The base of the card is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4. The white for the inside is cut at 5 x 3 3/4 and the DSP is cut 5 1/2 x 3. The color of the card bases changes as does the DSP used.
On the first card I die cut the leaves and sponged color on them and added them to the left side of the card. On this one I went with a Christmas theme and the Beary Christmas DSP. The card base is Night of Navy. What I did differently with this card is that I added three Bears that I fussy cut out of the awesome DSP and added them to the left side of the card. Love those bears.
For the next card I did a Birthday card we never have enough Birthday cards so again I changed colors, DSP and went with a Berry Burst base and the Delightfully Eclectic DSP and instead of adding three items to the left side I added more to fill up the space. I die cut the flowers from the Darling Details die set. I put a pink or white pearl in the center of each of the flowers and added a bow.
So the three cards show you how you can take one layout and with different paper, DSP, stamps, ink you can make different and unique cards using supplies you have on hand.
Thank you so much for stopping by and please make sure to visit all the other blogs on the list for some more great and unique ideas.
Till next month be safe and stamp away.
