January 2018 Class Cards

My next class is on January 20, 2018 at the Local Bean coffee shop in Hudson NC and these are the cards we will be making. Hope you like them

Woo Hop Stampers Gift Exchange

This Saturday December 9th is the Woo Hoo Stampers Christmas party.  I  take part in the gift exchange every year.  This year I had a hard time coming up with am idea until I listened to Sara Douglas talking at OnStage about Stampin: Up's Statement of the Heart and that was my inspiration.

November 2017 Woo Hop Stampers Swap

The theme for November is Winter/Winter Holiday.  Two of my class cards were such a hit that I decided to case myself.  I did the card for the class in Bermuda Bay and I changed the color this time to Melon Mambo not sure which color I like better now.

October Woo Hoo Stampers Swap

This months theme is Fall/Fall Holiday and decided to make a Halloween Cards.  Just love the Spooky Cat suite with the stamp set, punch and DSP 

October 2017 Card Class

Class is on October 14 at the Wendy's in Granite Falls from 2-4 PM.  Our regular venue changed their hours for the month so we will have our class here.  We will be making 3 Christmas cards and on gift card holder.

October 2017Southern Belles Swap

The Southern Belles will be meeting again on Tuesday October 3, 2017 and my swap card was based on a project we did at the last Quarterly Meeting I attended it was a frame and I just love looking at it.  It is really pretty so I decided to try it on a card and this is the result

September Cards A Latte Class

September Southern Belles Swap

I am loving all the goodies in the new holiday catty.  I cased a card made by France Martin it is a shadowbox and easy to make so this is what I came up with

August Woo Hop Stampers Swap

Our next meeting is the end of August but my card is done.  This months theme is a technique and this is what I came up with.

August Southern Belles Card Swap

Had idea to make a different card but with Big Shot still broken had to do something else and I love the way it came out.  Had to get the Grateful Garden stamp set and the Petal Garden DSP.  Used one corner of the paper, stamped in the other corner then stamped vellum in black and colored on back with our watercolor pencils cut it out and on the paper with dimensionals.  Salutation and glitter dots and done.

August Cards A Latte Class

Cards A Latte class is August 12 at the Local Bean in Hudson NC from 1-3 PM and it's the beginning of the holiday season from now until December we will be making one or two holiday cards, so come join in the fun.

A Tranquil Tide Show N Tell

I saw a card similar to the one I made but it was smaller and it wasn't a stand alone card.  I made the sample and attached it to a piece of 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 cardstock and knew I had some work to do.  In the end this is what I came up with. It stands alone and is A2 in size.

July 2017 Woo Hoo Stampers Swap

My NY groups swap is due July 8th.  I had two days to design, cut, make and mail this swap card.  The black stripes are paper and yes, you do need a degree in Engineering to get everything to line up somewhat even.  The results I love.

Helping Out

A Pastor from one of the local churches reached out to me from my Stampin' Up website and asked me to design some cards they could make and send to their shutins.  I was thrilled to help out and came up with these cards that we will make this week.
