January 2026 NC Demos Blog Hop

 

Welcome to the NC Demos Blog Hop we are here the last Sunday of each month and so happy you could join us this evening.  The theme for this month is shopping from the new mini catty that went live the beginning of January.  This is an awesome catty and I have to say it was hard not to buy everything.  

The first thing that caught my eye was the Nature Walk Suite which is on pages 38-41. I love green and I think that is why I was wanted this suite.  It was I need that now kind of moment and I was not disappointed when it arrived, I could not wait to get started.

I decided to use Crumb Cake for my card base and I cut it 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and scored it at 4 1/4.  I then cute a piece of the DSP which is so gorgeous at 5 1/4 x 4 and added it to the front of the card.  There is another package of paper in this suite called Natures Hues Textured Specialty paper and I loved this one too.  If you have ever made your own paper this pack reminded me of homemade paper and I loved it.  I took the lightest color and with a blending brush and Mossy Meadow ink I added a light cover of color and then used this piece to die cut the gorgeous delicate leaves.  They came out just gorgeous and added them to the front of the card with mini dims.

I then cut a small piece of Very Vanilla 2 x 5/8 and in Mossy Meadow stamped the sentiment I was using from the stamp set. I added this to the bottom right of the card.  To finish the card I added three of the Faux Bronze Pentagons.  Not only that but it makes a great masculine card with the stamp that says "to a great guy".

This inside is Very Vanilla and I used the product of the month the Fabulous Sayings stamp set and added Happy Birthday and my card was done.
