NY Woo Hoo Stampers June Swap

I love the Open Sea stamp set and the Nautical Expedition Designer Series Paper from the new Summer Mini.  I wish they would put them in the new catty. 

Embossing on Sticky Tape

Here is the finished card.  I love this technique.  It is easy and I get even straight lines.  You have to try it.

Has anyone tried this before? It's AWESOME!

This is something I tried today and it worked.  I wanted straight lines on a card embossed and what I did was take sticky tape (Score Tape, Red backed tape) I took put in where I wanted it and took the top cover off added the embossing powder heated it and it worked.  I love it you have to try it.  Tip:  cover what you have already embossed and be careful when removing the paper what you have already done could smear.  I know I did it. Here is my sample so far the card is not finished but the Melon Mambo and the Tangerine Tango strips are embossed.  I used Wild Wasabi to emboss the ice cream.

NC Demos Quarterly Meeting

The NC Demos QM is Friday and Saturday April 15-16, 2011 in Fayetteville and I am really excited about going.  This is the first time I am going for both days and it should be a blast.  Going for one day usually is but to spend more time stamping and meeting other demonstrators in the state is always fun.  I signed up for 3 of the swaps, the regular card swap, the 6X6 punch art swap and the Friday night SBS. I had a blast making these swaps.

 This card is for the Regular Card Swap.  I used the new Strength and Hope stamp set from the Summer Mini.  I used the Frost White Shimmer Paint to do the Faux Pearl Technique.

 It took me awhile to come up with the Martini Glass for the Punch Art Swap.  I wanted something different and I like the way it came out. The last card is for the Shoe Box Swap on Friday night and it uses one of the new stamp sets that will be in the new catalog in July it's called Four Frames.  So now let the fun begin.

April Woo Hoo Stampers Swap

My NY group swap theme for the month of April is a Baby Card.  I took an idea from my April Class and elaborated on it and came up with this card.  I love it.  I also made the rattle make noise.  Very happy with the way this card turned out.

April's Class-Tina's Choice

This class is always fun because I step out of my comfort zone and try something new to pass on to my class.

This time is no exception.  As you can tell from the samples we are doing several different cards and different techniques too.
