January 2020 NC Demos Blog Hop

Welcome to the January 2020 NC Demos Blog Hop.  The theme for this month is Sale-A-Bration, that wonderful time for the year where with a $50 or $100 purchase you get to chose something free from the Sale-A-Bration brochure.  Such fun.

I decided to use the Happy Birthday to You stamp set for my card.  There is so much you can do with this stamp set.

I used Blueberry Bushel and Balmy Blue as my color theme for the card.  The card is Blueberry Bushel cut at 5 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4.  The Balmy Blue was cut 5 1/4 x 4 and I ran it through the Big Shot in the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing folder.

I just love the texture it gives. I put this on the front of the card.  I then took the largest die from the Stitched so Sweetly Die set and stamped the cake in Memento Black and the Salutation in Blueberry Bushel.  I then colored the cake with the following Blends the light and dark Balmy Blue the the dark Petal Pink the light Smokey Gray, the leaves in light and dark Old Olive and lastly the cake in light Crumb Cake.  It didn't take very long to color it in at all.

Once all the coloring was done I attached it to the front of the card with Dimensionals and added some bling from the Holiday Rhinestones Basic Gems set.  I had to get a few of these sets the colors go well with so many cards I make.

I kept the inside simple.  I cut Whisper White 5 1/4 x 4 and in Blueberry Bushed stamped the Happy Birthday to you.  And the card was done.

Thank you so much for stopping by this month please make sure to stop by each of the blogs of the blogs listed below to get a full Sale-A-Bration experience and some great ideas.  Until next month.

I see we both loved the same stamp set, lol! It's a great set. I don't have that embossing folder or those dies yet but they are on my list! I love the colors you used. Great card :)

I love blues and how you've paired them with the cake. Makes me think of a very calm day and who doesn't need that occasionally? Beautiful job coloring, too.

Beautiful card, Tina. Love that embossing folder. I have just ordered this stamp set (and now need the dies!) and am patiently waiting for Mr. UPS Man to deliver them today.
