March 2020 NC Demos Blog Hop

Welcome to the March NC Demos Blog Hop we are here the last Sunday of the month at 8 PM EST.  This month's theme is "Monochromatic Masterpieces" using the retiring InColors.  The colors retiring in June are Lovely Lipstick, Pineapple Punch, Grapefruit Grove, Blueberry Bushel and Call Me Clover.  I will miss these bright beautiful colors but on the other hand looking forward to the new colors coming. I decided to use Call Me Clover for my card.  Green is my favorite color so I figured it would be the perfect farewell to the color.

My card uses the Beautiful You stamp set and the Heirloom Frames Dies and Embossing Folder.

I began with a 5 1/2 x 8 inch piece of Call Me Clover cardstock and scored it at 4 1/4.  I then took a piece of white 5 1/4 x 4 and put it in the Subtles embossing folder and ran it through the Big Shot and attached it to the front of the card.

This is one of my favorite embossing folders.  I then took another piece of white and stamped my figure on it with Call Me Clover ink and put it aside.  I then took a piece of Call Me Clover cardstock and cut out the frame and then carefully put it in the embossing folder and through the big shot and put it over my stamped figure I then added this piece to the upper left hand side of the card with dimensionals.

Stamped the Salutation in Call Me Clover on a separate piece of white cardstock and used the Label Me Fancy punch to cut it out.  Sponged the edges in Call Me Clover and put it on the lower right side of the card with dimensionals and my card is almost finished.  Colored rhinestones with a green sharpie and added them to the card and the final finish to the front was a bow made with the Call Me Clover 1/8 inch Grosgrain ribbon and the front was done.  Tip: I usually color my pearls or rhinestones with the Blends but since I didn't have the color I used a green Sharpie if I didn't have a matching Sharpie I would colored the rhinestone with the matching marker and then put a coat of clear nail polish lightly over it to set the color.

The inside is White 5 1/4 x 4 stamped in Call Me Clover is the salutation and with the Small Bloom punch on the lover right I added a small flower I punched out.

Card is now complete and wishing a fond farewell to Call Me Clover

Thank you so much for stopping by this month and check back again next month.  The blog hop continues so make sure to check out the next person on the list I am sure they will impress you with their ideas and tips.  Till next month.
