January 2021 NC Demos Blog Hop

Welcome to the NC Demos Blog Hop.  We are here the last Sunday of each month and are so glad you could join us today.  The theme for this month is Sale-A-Bration that time of year when you can spend $50 for Stampin' Up products and get to pick something for free.  This year it's all about the paper and SU has some really beautiful selections.  My favorite is Flower and Field DSP and that is what I will be using in my card today.

It is a fun fold card but with a twist I did it a different way. Begin with a piece of Pool Party cardstock cut 4 1/4 x 11 and score it at 2 3/4 and 5 1/2.  It will look like this

Once this is ready for the inside cut piece of Basic White 5 x 3 3/4 and attach a piece of DSP from the Flower and Field pack 3/4 x 5 to the bottom and center on the inside.

Cut DSP 5 x 3 3/4 put on piece of Basic Black cut 5 1/8 x 3 7/8 and add the DSP on the left side tie in a knot a piece of Daffodil Delight 1/4 in Ruched Ribbon now glue this piece to the left side of the base only.  Usually here we use a smaller piece but this time not doing that I want to show off the DSP.  Make sure top piece covers the inside white piece.

On scrap of white stamp salutation in Black in and using the layering dies cut out the white piece and one larger scalloped piece in Pool Party put on card with dimensionals and add a little bling I added  3 Pool Party colored pearls one one the salutation piece and two more around the card.

When card is open it looks like this.  Quick and easy plus it shows off the beautiful SAB designer series paper.

Thank you so much for stopping by and please make sure to go to visit all the names on the list I am sure they will have some wonderful products for you to try.  And make sure to stop by again next month. Stay safe.

This is my favorite sheet of this paper. It is so cheerful and reminds me of the Shasta Daisy's my grandpa used to bring me to the hospital when I was a kid. I love it. Thank you for sharing with us today.

I am loving this paper as well! I think it's the addition of the black background, it really makes the flowers pop! And I really enjoy doing fun fold cards, it gets a little boring for me to do the same style cards over and over, and fun folds break up the monotony! Thanks for sharing your card :)
