May 2021 NC Demos Blog Hop

Welcome to the NC Demos Blog Hop we are here the last Sunday of the month and are so happy you could join us tonight.  The theme for this month is "Teamwork" but with a twist we are to make something using new product and returning product that made it back to the new catty.

I made a simple card focusing on the New InColors which are so gorgeous this year.  They are Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Polished Pink, Fresh Freesia and Pale Papaya.

Card base is heavy Basic White cut 5 1/2 x 11 scored at 4 1/4.
Next piece is Evening Evergreen cut  5 1/4 x 4 next cut the 2021-2023 InColor 6x6 DSP into 5 x 3 3/4 pieces and from there I cut them into 1" strips and attached them to Evening Evergreen piece.

I then attached a piece of the returning White 1/4 inch wrinkled seambinding to the card just below the center.

Then using the returning Double Oval punch cut the small one out of white and the larger one in Evening Evergreen.  I stamped the salutation in the Evening Evergreen and attached it to the scalloped oval with dimensionals then attached it to the card with move dimensionals right over the ribbon. I then made a bow with the InColors Evening Evergreen open weave ribbon and added it with a glue dot next to the ovals.

To finish the card I added 5 of the new InColor Gems using one of each color.

The card done.  The inside is White 5 1/4 x 4 and I left it blank.

Thank you so much for joining us and make sure to check out the next person on the list.  See you next month.

Tina, I have to agree with everyone else. The new colors are perfect together. SU hasn't done that in a long time. I love how they work together. Beautifully done and simple.

Tina - Your card is so pretty, and the new In-Colors work so well with your design. I really love the In-Colors. Each color is so pretty, but they also work together incredibly well!

Tina, I love your use of the new In Colors, it gives such a great view of each color. And the white seam binding is my absolute favorite SU! ribbon. It’s so versatile and is a dream to tie, which is so important when I’m making projects for my classes. Thanks for sharing
