Welcome to the NC Demos Blog Hop we are here the last Sunday of each month and so glad you could join us this evening. The theme for this month is "a little something". We are coming to the gift giving time of the year where we remember family, friends and all those whom have helped us out the year and of course there is always a just because reason.
I have used this gift/treat bag for a number of years and have made it in many different sizes and have tucked many a gift inside. I recently made this one as a Halloween treat for the ladies that came to my last card class.
I began with a 6 x 6 piece of designer paper. This bag can be made any size as long as you start with a square piece of paper.
Fold one corner to the other to form a triangle. Burnish fold to it lays flat.
Now open the triangle and take one corner and bring it straight down to the fold. Burnish.
Bring this fold back up to the top so it looks like it did when you first started but you now have fold lines the will be a guild for you to finish the project.
Taking the left side bring it in and position it directly under the fold. Burnish edge and leave it in place. Bring in the right side and do the same line it up with the fold line and burnish. We are almost done.
Place some adhesive in the center and bring down the top part again and hold in place and your bag is done and you can decorate the top if you want. The 6 x 6 size is good for two snack size candies or a gift card. The 8 x8 size for hot chocolate and gloves, 10 x 10 holds a dish towel perfectly and the 12 x 12 for just about anything. Hope you try this quick and easy bag.

I have used this pattern a few times in the past as well. It’s definitely very versatile! Thanks for reminding me about it 😊

Always a perfect holder, but I honestly haven't thought about trying larger sizes. Thanks for reminding me!
Love this and it is certainly something that could be used for so many little treats and gifts. Thanks for sharing!
What a cute project! Thank you for the reminder. I made these years ago and had forgotten how about them. Thank you for sharing!
