February 2023 NC Demos Blog Hop

Welcome to the NC Demos Blog Hop we are here the last Sunday of each month and are so happy you could join us this evening.  The theme for this months blog hop is "Sale A Bration".  It is a great time of the year because for every $50 to $100 you spend you can pick a free item form the Sale A Bration brochure.   My card this month features 4 Sale A Bration items: Pool Party Crinkle Ribbon, Flight and Airy DSP, Softly Stippled DSP and the Opaque Faceted Gems.  There are so many great items this year that is was hard to chose.

My card is a simple fun fold.  Base is Pool Party cut 5 1/2 by 7 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4.  I then cut a piece of DSP from the Lighter Than Air 6 x 6 DSP and cut it 5 1/4 x 3 before I attached it to the card on the left side I attached a piece of the Pool Party ribbon to the left side and then put it on the card.  On the right side of the card I attached a 5 1/4 x 3/4 piece of DSP from the Softly Stippled DSP.

On the inside of the card I added a piece of Basic White 5 1/4 x 3 left a 1/4 space between the DSP and the white.

I then took the  Flight and Airy DSP and with the Heartfelt Hexagon punch cut out 2 different sets of birds and attached them to the left side of the card with Dims one at the top and one at the bottom.  I then punched a piece out in Pool Party and put that between the other two on the card with Dims only on one side because this piece overlaps the right side.  I then fussy cut a cute little bird out of the DSP and with a Dim added him to the Hexagon piece.

Finished the card with some of the pretty Opaque Faceted Gems.  No salutation was added, this card could be for any occasion.

Thank you so much for stopping by this evening and please make sure to visit all the other sites from some wonderful ideas for you card making.  Be safe and see you here next month.

It's a simple fold that does not look simple at all. Very pretty!

Tina, I like that you used my favorite DSP papers on your card and the ribbon. I also like the way you staggered your punch. Pretty card, thanks for sharing.
