February 2026 NC Demos Blog Hop

Welcome to the NC Demos Blog Hop, we are here the last Sunday of each month and are so happy you could join us this evening.  The theme for this month is " Shake off the winter Blues" and it has been a crazy winter here in NC.  I am so looking forward to Spring so I decided to make a happy, colorful Spring card.

I used Azure Afternoon for my card base a color I sometimes just pass over but today it got selected.  The base is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4.  Then I took a piece of DSP from my new favorite stack of DSP the Easter Joy. The DSP was cut 5 1/4 x 4 and attached to the front. I just love all the sheets in this pack of DSP.

I then I punched out a White circle and stamped my sentiment in Azure Afternoon and add it to a large circle in Azure Afternoon with a dimensional and then added it to the center of my card.  I had a space at the bottom and I was going to stamp something there but then I remembered the the fluffy stickers from the Spring Mix collection and added a bird to represent the coming of Spring.

I then added an Azure Afternoon bow and some made some Azure Afternoon Rhinestones made with clear rhinestone and a blend to get the color I wanted.  Ribbon for bow was also colored this way.  And the front of you card was done.

For the inside I cut Basic White 5 x 3 1/2 added it to the inside and used one of the tiny puffy stickers in the upper right. As a result Spring has Sprung.

Thank you so much for stopping my this evening and make sure to check out the other blogs for more shaking off the winter blues cards.

Till next month keep on stamping and be safe.

That little bird is so cute, Tina! I must have missed that product somehow. And I love Azure Afternoon too, I just don't grab it as often as I should. Thanks for sharing :)
